Fenty Skin released last month and in not so shocked fashion, Rhianna fans and skin care enthusiasts went crazy.
I admit, I was a little hesitant about the initial release because it seems like almost every celebrity is releasing a skincare line.
However, this made sense considering Ri Ri has a makeup line.
So lets get right into it.
I purchased the toner from the three product line called the ‘Fat water’ toner serum.
If you want to know what all the products are in her line you can read my last post here.
When I received my toner in the mail I admit I was not that impressed due to the presentation (or lack thereof).
When I finally took the product out of the package my eyes lit up.
The beautiful lavender and rose gold bottle was just what I needed after opening my initial package.
What I love about this product is that it works as a hybrid. Toner + Serum.
As you know, adding a toner to your skincare routine is important. Typically, after we cleanse our skin it strips the PH balance in our skin.
To replace it, a good toner helps replenish that PH balance.
The ‘Fat Water’ toner contains the following ingredients:
✔ Niacinamide (a form of Vitamin B3): Helps reduce the look of dark spots, even skin tone, and fight excess shine
✔ Barbados cherry (acerola): Every cherry is loaded with more vitamin C than an orange to help brighten
✔ Australian lemon myrtle & witch hazel water: Help reduce oil and refine pores
Before applying the toner, I placed the bottle in the fridge for 30-minutes so that it could have a more cooling effect and to leave my skin more dewy.
I saw immediate results after applying this product. My pores appeared more refined, my skin was more dewy and just overall appeared to have more clarity.
On a scale of 1-5 I give this toner a 4.
I had no negative reaction to my sensitive skin.
If you were thinking of giving this a try musers’, it’s definitely worth a try.
