When it comes to liquid peels, as a person with sensitive skin I typically have to be extremely picky about the types of peels I use.
So when I came across the option to use a liquid peel from a mainstream brand, I was a bit skeptical.
Skeptical because I’ve tried a version of peels from the Dr. Dennis Gross and I was not impressed.
I had been in the market for a new peel for awhile so I thought perhaps I can give another try from their line.
This time I tried their Clinical Grade Resurfacing Liquid Peel.
As a woman of color, I’m typically very skeptical of using popular brands because typically the ingredients maybe too harsh for brown and dark skin tones.
So, I put my skepticism to the side and gave it a try and this is what happened…
Before: Uneven skintone, a little dryness and some patchy spots.
Then, I was shocked:
I was very surprised at my results. I was scared that I may have had a negative reaction and to my pleasant surprise, the peel worked immediately and I saw instant results.
Even though this peel is considered ‘clinical’ level, it did not damage my sensitive skin.
I would rate it an 8/9. I would absolutely recommend this if you are looking to try a more advanced yet safe at home peel.
